Zeel B Patel


Zeel is a PhD student in Computer Science and Engineering at the Sustainability lab, IIT Gandhinagar advised by Prof. Nipun Batra. His research area of interest is Probabilistic Machine Learning and its applications to Environment Modeling and Sensor Placement.

He is a co-author in Dr. Kevin Murphy’s latest book Probabilistic Machine Learning: Advanced Topics (download stats shield). He was a Google Summer of Code (GSoC) contributor at Google (TensorFlow) in 2022.

Before joining Ph.D., he was a Data Scientist in an R&D team headed by CTO at Inspirisys Solutions Ltd.. He did his masters from IIITDM Kancheepuram.
